Process for ADHD assessment in Adults
The assessment of ADHD in Adults is a three-step process further to request of an ADHD assessment officially either from the patient/carer/family member or the General Practioners.
If the patient is keen on initiation of ADHD medication, then a private prescription would be issued by a Consultant Psychiatrist to a pharmacy of patients’ choice, and they will be reviewed every three weeks for titration with the physical measurements until they are stabilised and optimised with the ADHD medication.
In case of any adverse side effects experienced by the patient while on initiation or on titration of medication, they would be able to email the admin staff for it to be reviewed by the Consultant Psychiatrist and an appropriate response would be provided.
It is the responsibility of the patient, to book, review appointments well in advance prior to running out of the medication.
The following questionnaires will be provided to the patient/carer/family member to be filled in prior to the assessment.
