We are expanding our services and looking for dedicated Child Psychologists to join our multidisciplinary team, focusing on autism assessments including the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).
The Role
As a Child Psychologist at ADHDASDDoctor.com, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and supporting children with ASD. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, contributing to the development of tailored intervention plans that meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed autism assessments, including the administration of the ADOS, to accurately diagnose ASD in children and teens.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and pediatricians, to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Provide guidance and support to families, helping them understand their child’s diagnosis and navigate the path forward.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in ASD assessment and treatment.
Requirements
- A Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in conducting autism assessments, including proficiency in administering the ADOS.
- Current registration with the relevant professional body.
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to providing compassionate care.
