Nicci obtained a First-Class honours Degree in Psychology at QUB before completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and working as a primary teacher in Leicestershire. She was awarded a Masters in Developmental and Educational Psychology with Distinction before taking up a post as a main grade Educational Psychologist with the Belfast Education and Library Board in 2006. She has vast experience assessing and supporting children and adults who present with a broad range of special educational needs. Nicci obtained a Senior Specialist Educational Psychologist post for Autism in 2011 whilst working for the South Eastern Education and Library Board. She is an experienced Autism diagnostician, having completed multi-disciplinary assessments for many years on a private basis and in conjunction with the health trust. Nicci has completed additional training in Attention Autism and PECs. She is a Lego Therapy facilitator and TEACCH trainer and she has used these skills to support service users, parents and staff in meeting the needs of those on the Autism Spectrum. Nicci has combined her personal interest in horses with her passion for supporting children and adults with additional needs to provide Equine Assisted Learning intervention.
