Dr Jonathan Henderson

Dr. Henderson is a consultant paediatrician at Craigavon Area Hospital, leading the paediatric ambulatory services. His role focuses on enhancing patient flow and care quality in acute and general paediatrics by ensuring patients are seen in the right place, at the right time, by the right specialist. He has a particular interest in paediatric asthma and allergy.

Dr. Henderson is deeply involved in paediatric medical education, contributing to educational resources for Queen’s University Belfast and various online training programmes. He also teaches paediatrics internationally across Asia, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. His research in medical education and quality improvement in paediatrics has been presented regionally and nationally.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Ulster Paediatric Society (UPS), Northern Ireland Paediatric Respiratory and Allergy Network (NIPRAN), and The British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI). Dr. Henderson is listed on the General Medical Council’s specialty register.
